Landahl Park
About the Park
Landahl Park is located on 1,397 acres, two miles east of Missouri Highway 7 on Truman Road.
Popular with mountain bikers, this park includes many miles of trails designated for bikers of all levels and skills.
Park Facilities
- Archery Range Complex with static targets and three walking courses
- Mountain Bike Trails (In partnership with the Urban Trail Company)
- A picnic shelter
- Primitive group camping
Shooting Range
In 1981, the Missouri Department of Conservation opened the Lake City Shooting Range for target shooting and outdoor education. The Conservation Department operates the range to provide a safe practice area for hunters and marksmen.
Formerly the Lake City Park Reserve, the park was renamed in 1988 to honor former Jackson County Parks + Rec Director William L. Landahl.
